When our central vac system malfunctioned our office manager picked up this machine to use till repairs may be made. I was totally amazed by this light weight, easy to maneuver vac. Hair, toenail clippings, dirt all gone! we have tried other stick vacs at the clinic and they typically just push the hair and nails around the floor, or they clog up in seconds. This vac is so remarkable that I ran out and bought one for my six cat, three dog, one baby house.

This vac has a ridiculously big total of suction for it is size. The suction power, with the odd looking but greatly efficient v shape front edge, pulls the hair and dirt into the vac rather than pushing it around. It is hard to overstate the “Wow!” factor involved as it cleans right up to the baseboards, under the cupboard edges, pulls hair from corners and around bench legs. (I’d been using the edging tool on my big upright vac to do the same things heavy, took more time, and did not clean as well!) All that in a light weight vac that may be picked up one handed without a thought. I have been zipping this around at home on our vinyl and laminate floors while carrying my baby daughter in her baby sling. Emptying the vac is simple and does not make a mess. Still another great feature is the lack of bristles. Everyone who deals with pet hair quickly learns that bristles are just spots for the hair to gather and drag around the house rather than going into the vac. Someone at Bissell doed their homework.

The only downside to this vac is the sound. It’s deafening. Deafening. But, given the suction power all that sound produces, I am more than wanting to overlook it!

(REAL NAME) This review is from: Bissell PowerEdge Pet Hard Floor Vacuum, 81L2T (Misc.) The 1st thing to know is that this vacuum is a little different than the BISSELL PowerEdge Hard Floor Vacuum. The names are alike and they look alike. But, unlike the BISSELL PowerEdge Hard Floor Vacuum, The BISSELL Bronze PowerEdge Pet Vacuum doesn’t have bristles that could scratch the floor. Instead it has a straight plastic strip that squeegeess all particles and hair into the vacuum suction of the unit. I tried many merchandise and till this prduct, the Swiffer Sweeper was the best. I favor this product now. Because it plugs in, it can go forever. It picks up anything and everything; and it’s easy to empty. It’s a great tool for hard floors, particularly at about $50.

I greatly recommend it to anybody I know who have pets. I have one Siberian Husky dog who can shed a small poodle total of hair on any given day and a cat who sheds too. I have serious Osteoarthritis also. This vacuum is the only one I can pick up and maneuver with ease on my most painful days. It’s easy to clean out. The suction is amazing! It really does get everything from under the cupboards and from around the legs of furniture and with no brissels involved I not have to clean the dog/cat hair off of brushes while trying to vacuum it all up. I really love this sweeper!
I suggested it to my vetrinarian and the staff. So far two people ordered this from and love it as much as I do. I love how it has two windshield like rubber pieces instead of brissels so it just sucks up the hair from hardwood or another hard surface floors. It also sucks up the stuff that gets into the crevices of my congloleum and the grout spaces between tile. On carpeting it does get many of the lighter pet hair on top but to really get all of the pet hair out of many carpets and deeper pile rugs I still need my other bristle model.
This product is well worth the price and I’ll continue to greatly recommend it to any pet owner.

There are units out there that cost ten times that. So how does the Dynamite Plus stack up? It sucks! , well. I do not think I have ever used a vaccum that had such powerful suction. I bought a Dirt Devil cordless unit (the one that nobody looks to like) about a year ago and it was garbage. I wondered if anybody really needed cordless while in the confines of their own home. Most probably not. Why not trade the doubtful benefits of cordless for maximum sucking power? For the price there’s proably no vacuum made that’s more powerful. So why only four stars? In spite of a vacuum that looks well built, convenient, light, bagless, movable, etc., there’s one thing that’s insanely ridiculous about the Dynamite Plus’ design. All of that powerful suckiing power shoots right out a front grill of the vacuum. Like a tornado!!!! The 1st time I used it was in the kitchen it it literally blew all of the photos and notes off my refrigerator. The next time bordered on slapstick comedy if I may have considered it humorous. I vacuumed the hearth of my fireplace and the tornado like exhaust fan blew ashes from the fireplace all over my living room!!! Who in their right mind could design a vacuum with a jet engine strong exhaust fan right in front pointing at the dust and dirt you’re going to vacuum? Last thought . The plastic recepticle fills up fast. I vacuumed what I thought was a clean tile floor in the kitchen and the dirt container was full. I emptied it and vacuumed my staircase and the dirt bag was full. Is this a bad thing? How can it be? The Dynamite Plus is sucking in dirt that I did not know existed. That is the whole reason I vacuum. So I could rate this as the best bargain of any vacuum I have ever seen except for that silly design flaw. It is not at all a reason to not buy this vacuum. You just have to know how to avoid pointing it at things like fireplace ashes. Bottom line is I have never owned a vacuum with as much suction. This thing is dirt cheap for what it does.

But beware, it’s little, best for smaller spaces or an apartment. The suction and hose attachment function well. It is movable and easy to take off the canister. Though to get all the debris out of it takes a good total of shaking. All in all a nice choice if you do not have many of square footage and want a light, little cleaner.

This review is from: Dirt Devil Dynamite Bagless Upright with On Board Tools M084650RED (Kitchen) I owned this superb vacuum for at least3 5 days and it’s a powerful little vac that acts like a big 12amp vacuum.And I have found that it not olny picks up the big clumps of nasty horrfying dirt and grit but also the little specifications of dirt that ruin carpets.And the hose never clogs up and, Ifound out that if you take the hose off an real 12amp vacuum and use that to clean off the heapa filter in the DirtDevils dirt compartment it just makes it appear like its brand new.P.S.It has really awsome excellent scution through the floor nozzle and hose and the beater brush beats the living heck out of our carpet, so thats why its so powerful ect.

In the procedure of deciding which model of hand vac to purchase, I ran into some confusing issues.

First, before this buy (of two hand vacs), I have never bought any hand held vac that wasn’t a Black & Decker DUST BUSTER. I suppose that’s because they were the 1st to have a cordless/rechargeable hand vac, and inertia took over when it came time for me to replace them. By the time the thrill of having that 1st rechargeable hand held vac wore off, there were other businesses making hand held vacs, but I stuck with B&D’s DB’s. I cussed them out over different things usually they just were not good. There were not many choices of model; the accessories from one generation did not fit the next generation when the next generation came on the market with no accessories (dust brush, crevice tools, etc.). This was one of the not many times in my life I put up with any serious product dissatisfaction. Shortly after I bought my last two B&D DB’s (I generally have two due to layout of our house), I decided that I had no idea what brand of hand vac I could buy next, but it could NOT BE A DUST BUSTER from B&D.

Because of living in a remote area I shop at frequently (because of free shipping and on a regular basis LOW prices too), and because I attempt to boycott Walmart (the only “discount” merchant I’m inside 50 miles of). When I started to compare different hand vacs I complained to my husband how confusing all the choices were and he tossed me the last issue of buyer Reports Magazine that rated Vacs. Frequently CR samples too not many choices to end up with my final choice, but I can track the quality reports depending on maker, and it looked as though Dirt Devil deserved a long, hard look.

While researching and comparing models and features I learned that DD manufactures many models under their own name but then limitations the distribution of those models to certain merchants. I hope this info can save you many time if you also research acquisitions carefully (as I do). This model is shown (by searching for the model number) at Dirt Devil’s web site. There’s another one shown there that’s otherwise same (BD10040) except its snout is clear, not red. Neither of them may be ordered from Dirt Devil. At 1st I suspected that they were discontinued models, and since the MSRP was a little different I was perplexed as to if they were exactly the same. After many totally defiant stubbornness by me (with the fourth or fifth “overseas” representative) I spoke to, one clarified the different models to me. This one is available through (cheapest) and Target only, and the other one is available through WalMart only.

I am totally positive that my time was well spent, at least for me (the original “WHY” kid) because I could generally fretted that I’d bought a discontinued model that had sitting around (which didn’t seem right since nobody had still written a review of it, and it has been listed at . With no reviews there either. Now that I know that the BD10040 and the BD10045 are the same, I propose that you also look at the reviews at ..

The maker started marketing this unit throughout a changeover of “filter” styles. This model takes #3 ME1300 001 (also #3 ME1300 00X). Both numbers appear on the box of them that I bought (contained two filters), just as I have shown them, as well as the parentheses and “also”. There can be info WITH your unit or at DD’s web site that talks about an adapter. The adapter and the filter used with it have been superceded by the number(s) I have shown.

And now about the pros and cons of the Accu Charge Cordless 15.6 Volt Hand Vac . . . It has powerful vacuum suction, but I wish the opening was a little wider (like on the Dust Buster’s). I also wish the , convenient on board (retractable) crevice tool was flatter (like the Dust Buster’s). I wish the pull out (retractable) brush bar was removable or retracted in totally. Other than those three things that are most likely just “period of adjustment” issues, I can from just some uses so far, that I’m certain I’ll be happier with the two Dirt Devils than I ever really was with the different Dust Busters I owned through the years, model after model. I heartily recommend this hand vacuum. I’m also happy with the fast recharge (only six hours), the fact that there’s a light that goes out when the vac is completely charged, and that it has new charging/recharging technology that decreases the charger’s output to a “trickle charge” once the unit is charged. This should increase the battery life considerably and cut down on power handling too. (Dirt Devil says it cuts power intake by 70). The charging stand may be wall mounted for extra convenience. This vac has a 3 YEAR WARRANTY.

I keep it in my garage, near the entrance from the kitchen, and use it for small jobs like cleaning the kids’ crumbs off the car seats and floors, sucking up bugs and spiderwebs from the garage wall, cleaning food crumbs from crevices in the kitchen, and removing dust and crumbs from my computer keyboards and monitors. It has a small retractable brush that’s useful for car cleaning, and a plastic nozzle that can flip forwards to extend the reach, which is good for cleaning things high up and sucking up bugs.

Apparently this device has a smart charger which doesn’t simply keep the battery at full charge all the time but optimizes the recharging to extend the battery life. I have surely not noticed any deterioration in the battery in the some number of months I owned this vacuum.

Opening the device to empty out the dirt is easy. Most of the dirt just drops out into the garbage. I like to use my central vac nozzle to completely clean out the left over dust and dirt particles from the inside of the vacuum and the filter. This procedure keeps the filter nice and clean and I have never required to replace it.

So this is a good product and surely had the possible for earning five stars. Unfortunately, I’m not happy with the wall mount system. The mount itself is good and stays securely on the wall with the supplied screws, but the vacuum just doesn’t feel secure on the mount. There’s no satisfying “click” to tell you that it was replaced properly on the wall mount after use; it’s really just friction that holds it, which I’m not comfy with for a pretty heavy device. Some times I have thought that I replaced the vacuum properly but then it started to slide off and I have required to push it back more so that it stays in place. It never really ended up falling to the floor but I do not like having to be so cautious. This is a somewhat surprising design flaw in an otherwise good product.
